چکیده

Based on the three-dimensional endocrine neuron model, a four-dimensional model was constructed by introducing magnetic flux variable and induced current according to law of electromagnetic induction. Firstly, codimension-one bifurcation Interspike Intervals (ISIs) analysis were applied study structure with respect external stimuli parameter <inline-formula><tex-math id="M1">$ k_0 $</tex-math></inline-formula>, two dynamical behaviors found: period-adding period-doubling leading chaos. Besides, Hopf specially discussed corresponding transformation state. Secondly, different firing patterns such as regular bursting, subthreshold oscillations, fast spiking, mixed-mode oscillations (MMOs) etc. can be observed changing current. The presented more activities under strong coupling strength. Finally, codimension-two shown details bifurcation. At same time, Bogdanov-Takens point also analyzed three curves derived.

Subcritical Hopf Bifurcation and Stochastic Resonance of Electrical Activities in Neuron under Electromagnetic Induction

The FitzHugh-Nagumo model is improved to consider the effect of the electromagnetic induction on single neuron. On the basis of investigating the Hopf bifurcation behavior of the improved model, stochastic resonance in the stochastic version is captured near the bifurcation point. It is revealed that a weak harmonic oscillation in the electromagnetic disturbance can be amplified through stochas...

Intrinsic firing patterns of diverse neocortical neurons.

Neurons of the neocortex differ dramatically in the patterns of action potentials they generate in response to current steps. Regular-spiking cells adapt strongly during maintained stimuli, whereas fast-spiking cells can sustain very high firing frequencies with little or no adaptation. Intrinsically bursting cells generate clusters of spikes (bursts), either singly or repetitively. These physi...

Firing Patterns Depending on Model Neurons

An electrophysiological experiment showed that spike timing was precise to less than one millisecond. This result indicates the possibility in the precise time codings. For a high accurate time coding, reconsideration of a neural mechanism which decides firing time is required. From such viewpoint, we quantitatively examined change in firing time with interference between two synaptic inputs th...

Improving the Izhikevich Model Based on Rat Basolateral Amygdala and Hippocampus Neurons, and Recognizing Their Possible Firing Patterns

Introduction: Identifying the potential firing patterns following different brain regions under normal and abnormal conditions increases our understanding of events at the level of neural interactions in the brain. Furthermore, it is important to be capable of modeling the potential neural activities to build precise artificial neural networks. The Izhikevich model is one of the simplest biolog...

Firing patterns of type II spiral ganglion neurons in vitro.

Type I and type II spiral ganglion neurons convey auditory information from the sensory receptors in the cochlea to the CNS. The numerous type I neurons have been extensively characterized, but the small population of type II neurons with their unmyelinated axons are undetectable with most recording methods. Despite the paucity of information about the type II neurons, it is clear that they mus...
